Healthy, home-delivered meals are available for homebound Seniors (60 years and older) who are unable to prepare their own food. Hot, nutritious meals are distributed during the week, and chilled or frozen meals can be pre-ordered for weekends and holidays. Funded in part by the Alameda County Area Agency on Aging, Spectrum’s well-balanced Meals on Wheels are prepared by the Valley Care Health System Hospital in Livermore.

Qualified clients are:

  • 60 years or older
  • homebound and unable to prepare their own meals
  • residents of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton or Sunol


Suggested Donation: $3.25
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

 

What the Program Offers

  • Special diets available on request (including low sodium, low fat, low cholesterol, renal, carbohydrate control, soft, mechanical soft, vegetarian).
  • Rice or tortilla substitution for bread.
