Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LiHEAP)

The LiHEAP Program helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with energy costs: PG&E and Alameda Power & Telecom bills assistance for a one-time payment per program year.

Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program

COVID-19 Update: To ensure health & safety of clients emergency furnace and hot water heater calls are continuing. All other Weatherization is on hold.

The Weatherization Program can help you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. By doing so, you can reduce the risk of health and safety problems. The program offers heater, water heater, and weatherization services every five years.

East Bay Community Energy Programs

Spectrum has partnered with EBCE to help enroll clients in 2 programs designed to lower monthly energy bills, contact us to start saving today.

California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) Program

Qualified households receive discounts on their energy bills through the CARE Program. CARE eligibility is based on public assistance program participation or based on the number of individuals in your household and total gross household income. This monthly discount is a minimum of 30% on their electricity bill and a 20% discount on their natural gas bill .

Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) Program

FERA Program provides a monthly discount on your electric bills. The program is designed for income-qualified households of three or more persons. The monthly discount is 18% on their electricity bill.
