Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

The LIHEAP Program seeks to keep low-income families safe in their homes by helping to ease their energy costs with a one-time payment per program year of their PG&E or Alameda Municipal Power bill, up to $3,000.

Low Income Home Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

A federally-funded COVID relief measure, the LIHWAP Program helps low-income families in Alameda County blunt the blow of economic hardships from the pandemic with a one-time payment, per program year, on an account holder's past due water or sewage bill, up to $2,000.

Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program

COVID-19 Update: To ensure health & safety of clients emergency furnace and hot water heater calls are continuing. All other Weatherization is on hold.

The Weatherization Program can help you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. By doing so, you can reduce the risk of health and safety problems. The program offers heater, water heater, and weatherization services every five years.
